Auto Temp offers silkscreen glass printing in any pattern you need. Our technicians apply the ink before tempering, so the image fuses into the glass and lasts as long as the part. Two 4-post, 3/4-matic Thieme machines let us meet stringent demands for quality, consistency, and productivity in black frit and silver printing. Our engineering team can also work with you to create or adapt your silkscreen artwork.
Why is silkscreen applied before tempering?
When the ink goes on before tempering, the furnace heat fuses it to the glass surface. The result is a permanent image that won't peel, scratch off, or fade the way coatings added after tempering can.
